About:
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an open-world first-person role-playing game and the third main entry in The Elder Scrolls series. Set on the island of Vvardenfell in the province of Morrowind, the player arrives as a released prisoner and becomes involved in the political and religious conflicts of the Dunmer people. Gameplay combines freeform exploration, real-time combat, and character customization across a vast landscape of ashlands, swamps, and volcanic terrain, with a main quest centered on an ancient prophecy.
Story:
A prisoner of the Empire is released from custody and sent by ship to the island district of Vvardenfell in the province of Morrowind. Bearing instructions from the Emperor himself, the newcomer is directed to make contact with a secretive order called the Blades, who believe the prisoner may fulfill an ancient Dunmer prophecy: the return of Nerevar, a legendary warrior whose reincarnation is foretold to unite the warring factions of Morrowind and confront a growing supernatural threat emanating from the volcanic Red Mountain at the island's center.
