Spica Adventure

About

From the arcade legends, TAITO, experience this formerly Japan-exclusive 2D action jump & run filled with charm and cartoonish delight on modern consoles for the very first time! Reminiscent of the parasol from Parasol Stars: Bubble Bobble III, this yellow parasol will become your favorite accessory and best weapon. Use it to take down a wild mix of enemies that come straight out of a toybox! Whether it's slashing combos, shooting, jumping off platforms, gliding, or floating, Nico and her parasol have an arsenal of moves that are as varied as her colorful foes. Don’t forget to use the parasol for protection—and we don’t mean against the sun! Defend, parry, and reflect the enemy projectiles in up to 8 directions! Tackle the challenge of 28 stages spread across multiple paths. With each playthrough, choose a new journey through the universe of Spica!

Story

Nico, a girl adventuring in space, is suddenly covered in a large number of flyers and crashes into the tin planet “Spica”. With the legendary umbrella in hand, Nico embarks on a great adventure, approaching the mystery of the sinking planet while defeating the fancy residents of Spica!
